About

I have been working as a laboratory assistant at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of the Karelian Research Centre since April 2022. I study somatic embryogenesis of conifers, work with callus cultures, study cytogenetic properties of conifers, prepare nutrient media and reagents, and design the research database of our laboratory. I am also currently studying the effect of salicylic acid on the germination of Pinus sylvestris and Picea abies. I am very interested in bioinformatics and would like to work in this field in the future. To this end, I improve myself every day by attending various training courses and programmes, by attending training schools and by participating in conferences. At the moment I am co-author of an article in the Dutch journal Ecotoxicology (Q2), co-author of abstracts and poster designer at the PlantGen2023 conference. I am a very hardworking and disciplined person who knows how to prioritise and take proper rest, which makes me always efficient.
